Kathie has been a fantastic teacher for my 8-year-old son as he works on his R sound. She is warm, encouraging, and makes learning fun and engaging. He has been frustrated by speech classes in the past because he felt belittled or babied. Kathie respects him, focuses on his strengths, and celebrates every tiny bit of progress. Kathie Ritter is an incredible speech therapist! My son went to a speech therapist at prestigious children's hospital and actually digressed. We came to Kathie and she was excellent. My son was always engaged the whole time because she came up with fun new ways to practice and drill speech. Getting my son to go to speech wasn't ever a chore or fight because she does such an incredible job. She always had different approaches if something wasn't working and it never took too long to switch if something wasn't working. The activities and games were amazing and he loved to do them. The homework she gave was also different and fun. I would recommend Kathie again and again. If my last child has speech problems at all, I will be happy to return to Kathie. She is an expert in my opinion. My son is now doing very well with his speech!

Kathie is the real deal!!! She is so Knowledgeable. She was the one who was able to Identify the way my child acquired language and give the appropriate therapy. She doesn’t just offer generic therapy. She really does figure out what is best for the child and gives individualized therapy. She’s also so fun and my child just adores her.

Kathie is amazing at what she does. She always has a smile on and made my daughter feel so welcome and loved.
